First look at the 2010 Banshee Spitfire.
The Banshee Spitfire is a new frame that Banshee is adding to their line-up next year. It will be a 5" travel aggressive trail / enduro ripping machine with adjustable geometry and a specifically tuned VF4B linkage to offer the rider great pedaling efficiency as well as active suspension under braking.

With a stiff yet lightweight frame offering 2 travel settings that alter geometry and riding characteristics, has banshee come up with the perfect XC / trail bike for downhillers and freeriders, as well as a great bike for XC riders to take that step up to the next level?

looks like a killer bike im really impressed with the bikes they have been putting out
sounds like it will be a very strong bike to take the more difficult lines on the enduro courses. but i would like to know what the two geometry settings are...
What if you sold a kidney to buy the bike and then wrecked on a trail and ruptured the other one. Talk about irony.
i guess you would be on dialysis for the rest of your life. Be ready to pay those medical bills...maybe donate your sperm or somethin'
Then during another trail ride crash you somehow manage to bust your nuts so hard that you can no longer produce active sperm. ouch
Banshee is NOT part of the Pacific that owns GT, Schwinn, Mongoose, etc. Banshee bikes are made in a small, high quality factory in Taiwan called Pacific Cycles, the same place they make Canfield and a few other high end brands.
the GT, mongoose, schwinn, cannondale etc. all owned by Dorel, you know the company that also makes your entertainment stand

The Only Problem here is that Oryx( now Rocky Mountain) Made a dually Spitfire frame. I used to own one.!!

I agree.. Suspension design look familiar, only more travel.. I've ridden the Anthem, and it's a very good design.
Kinda like the Lapierre Zesty/Spicy range. TBH the Laps look a lot better, cleaner lines, better looking hydroformed tubes and neater cable routing.
I like it, really straight-forward design. Clean look. I consider Banshee more and more every day for my next purchase.
