my demo had a 615mm toptube,if i were to look at the wildcard would it best to look at the large as it has the closest toptube.
saying that my old marin rocky ridge has a 23.5 inch toptube similar to the medium wildcard.
picking colour is easy but sizing does my head in.

Hi keith.
I took my rune to Cwm Carn downhill track yesterday fo an uplift with a few friends,I was well impressed with its peformance on a pretty narled up track with big switch backs lots of square edge hits and rocks everywhere.I have taken my scream, scythe and wildcard before but i think the rune was the most comfortable ride i have had there but the scythe was very plush also.
I found it easy to keep up with the big bikes like v10s and left them all standing hahaha.
Its real cool to have a bike i can easliy pedal round the forest trails but feels like a much bigger and very plush ride on the downhill.I can only imagine what the Legend must be like.
Any way i real impressed and i will get some photos up soon.
cheers chris.......

Hi keith
After our chat on the phone the other day i kept an eye on the play in the pivot and like you said it seems to have gone away and everything seems well strong !
I have done three days solid ridin on the new Rune a mix of xc,FAST single track descents at the forest of dean and some local downhill with 15 ft gaps to nice landings.
The frame is faultless! I love the suspension feel although i need to tweak some of the settings a bit but that will come with more time on the bike.
3rd oct im doing a uplift at Cwm Carn downhill track in Wales so ill let you know how it performed!
cheers for all your help.

Hi keith
I just tried out my new Rune and its awsome,I cant believe the suspension FANTASTIC.
there is some play in the pivot on the seat post which im not sure how to resolve!
But apart from that i am really impressed it desends like a downhill bike in my opinion !
and pedals a dream !
well done another fantastic Banshee frame.
chers chris.

Hi keith,
Regarding the Wildcard frame Jay said he was going to ship me at ep.
After a long think and the few questions you have answered for me i have decided to go with the Rune. After breaking my remedy at the chain stay i thought that "all mountain"bikes are not right for me after all.
But i think that Trek have gone a bit far with the thickness of there tubing and made them too thin.
I am sur the Rune will be a different bike all together and much tougher,Also a much more versatile bike for me.
So can you please tell Jay as soon as possible that i will get the Rune from freeborn as i think that is the best way to go as far as warranty is concerned.
Please thank him for me for all his time.
I would email him but i know he is busy so thanks again.

Thats a good way to look at it .
But what if you are a trail rider that likes to do 15 ft gaps and a few nice drops ?
ive got a friend who uses a heckler for this purpose cross country , downhill , big gaps and medium drops .
I presume the Rune is as strong as a heckler maybe stronger and pedals better ?

Are you familiar with the downhill track at cwm carn in wales. If so would the rune be ok on that sort of downhill run ?
even in the hands of a not too smooth rider ?

Hi keith
I said in a previous message to you that i was in conversation with jay about getting a wildcard frame shipped over to me to replace my small with a medium.
I am not sure if my messages are getting through to him properley as my computer is really rubbish.
Iwas wondering if you could tell Jay that i now have the amount we discussed and for him to let me know if that is enough to ship over a medium wildcard with dhx5 air shock.
I know he is busy so i dont want to hassle him,but i am lost without my wildcard to ride
So tell him i am ready to proceed with the order.
I REALLY APPRECIATE ALL YOUR HELP.
Many thanks chris....

HI
I love my wildcard but im starting to feel it is a bit small for me.
its a size small and im 6,2 but ive always used small frames both my scream and scythe were small, but i think im having a mid life crisis about the size.
Is it possible to get a new front triangle or have i got to get a whole new frame ?
thanks chris..

Hi, could you tell me - is it ok to use Triple clamps on a Wildcard? I may be moving to New Zealand in the near future and would be looking at ditching my shockingly naff Rockshox Domains and putting some longer travel forks on it, as well as switching it to the 6.5" travel setting - just want to know what my options are!

I am runnining the dhx 5 shock on my rune
with 180 psi in both chambers and i have the bottom out adjuster wound right in and it seems to be riding fine,But i just ffeel maybe i could do something to just mmake it a little better.
I am around just under 13 stone and ride quite aggresivly most the time so do these presures sound about right to you oor is there something obvious i could try !
i would be interested in you thoughts !
cheers .
Hope you feeling better know .
ps sorry for bad spelling
